When fellow Earthling John Stewart ends up with a yellow ring, he and Hal must work together to confront the being who destroyed the original Green Lantern Corps–the last surviving Guardian. Guy Darrin Gardner, one of the characters known as Green Lantern, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, usually in books featuring the Green Lantern family of characters, and for a time (late 1980s through mid 1990s) was also a significant member of the Justice League family of characters. While they seem a benign force for peace, Jordan can't get comfortable with how much power they wield, or their bizarre, lockstep behavior. As details of the Dawn of DC storytelling initiative comes to light, two classic heroes will be leading the charge when it comes to Green Lantern's new era. Wonder Woman Earth One had two volumes from Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette. Joe Michael Straczynski stopped doing Superman: Earth One for DC after 2015's third volume, and Shane Davis is on Metal Men. Following the successful revamp of the Flash in 1956, DC editor Julius Schwartz, along with writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane, ushered the Green Lantern into the so-called Silver Age of comics. Geoff Johns and Gary Frank have been busy on Doomsday Clock rather than Batman: Earth One Vol 3. They have been squeezed in seems on one side from the DC Young Adult OGNs and on the other from the Black Label projects. We haven't heard that much from DC Comics' Earth One line of original graphic novels.
